CommentsI appreciate the Mises Institute putting on this event. I have wanted to attend functions in the past but finishing my doctoral research has consumed quite a bit of my time over the last several months. I hope to defend my dissertation in early 2015 and, subsequently, plan to never receive wages from the public dole again! I sincerely look forward to meeting the lot of you. I briefly spoke with Tom Woods on the phone on a few occasions when I worked for the Gary Johnson campaign, and he seemed like a nice fellow. Most of the day-to-day discussions that I have are with folks not necessarily of like mind on political and economic issues (however, this seems to be changing as time continues to pass). So, it will be a pleasure to be in the company of people with whom I have similar philosophical foundations.
