At the conference, Member Observers and undergraduate students are requested to refrain from questions or comments during sessions. <br/> Conference registration takes place throughout the day on March 12 at the Mises Institute, 518 West Magnolia Avenue in Auburn. It's a very quick process of picking up your nametag.</p> <h3 align="center">Below you will find information and helpful links related to your upcoming visit to the Mises Institute</h3> <strong>Meals</strong> <p>Refreshment breaks and lunches at the Mises Institute are included with registration. Participants are responsible for their own breakfast and dinner arrangements.<br/> There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the Institute (see <a href="http://www.aotourism.com/Dining/frmDining.aspx">AO Tourism</a> or <a href="http://www.urbanspoon.com/n/74/7401/Alabama/Auburn-restaurants">Urbanspoon</a>) <br/> <strong>Attire</strong> <p>Dress for the conference is business-casual. Please bring a jacket or sweater as the temperature in the seminar rooms can be quite cool.</p> <strong>Directions and Accommodations</strong> <p>Driving directions and general Auburn information are available at <a href="http://mises.org/content/driving.asp">mises.org/content/driving.asp</a> and <a href="http://www.aotourism.com"/>www.aotourism.com</a>.</p> <p>To reserve accommodations at Auburn University Hotel, call them at 800-228-2876 or 334-821-8200 or <a href="http://www.auhcc.com/">reserve a room online.</a><br/> Mention the Austrian Economics Research Conference of the Mises Institute for a special rate of $119 per night plus tax, single or double, before February 12. The Mises Institute will provide a complimentary shuttle from Auburn University Hotel to the Institute each morning and back each evening.</p> <p>If the Mises room block is filled at the Auburn University Hotel, we recommend Auburn GameDay Center, which is just around the corner from the Mises Institute. For other hotels in the area, see <a href="http://www.aotourism.com">OA Tourism Bureau</a> but note that only AU Hotel, Auburn GameDay Center, Crenshaw Bed and Breakfast, and University Inn are within walking distance of the Mises Institute.</p> <p>Your arrival airport should be Atlanta, Georgia. To make your reservations and payment arrangements for a shuttle between Atlanta and Auburn, make an online reservation with <a href="www.express85.com">Express 85</a> (or call them at 888-238-7738 or 334-887-8595) or with <a href="http://www.groometransportation.com/index.php/auburn">Groome Transportation.</a> </p> <p>Atlanta is on Eastern Time and Auburn is one hour behind on Central Time. Auburn is 100 miles south of Atlanta. The shuttle companies require 48-hour advance reservations and they request that you wait outside your hotel 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time on the day of your trip back to Atlanta. You should request that the shuttle take you directly to your hotel when you arrive in Auburn.</p> <p>For alternative transportation between Atlanta airport and Auburn see <a href="http://www.auburntaxi.com/">Tiger Taxi</a> or <a href="http://www.alabamalimo.com/">Touch of Class.</a></p> <strong>Bookstore</strong> <p>Items from our <a href="http://store.mises.org/">online bookstore</a> will be for sale at the conference.</p> <strong>Presenters</strong> <p>If you are presenting a paper, please contact the chair of your session for session details, and let Pat Barnett (pat@mises.org) know if you will use PowerPoint or have other A/V requests.</p> <strong>Internet, Printers & Phones</strong> <p>There are a number of internet-ready computers and printers at the Institute for your use, or you may bring your laptop, as there is wireless service throughout the building.</p> You may receive faxes to your attention at 334-321-2119 or telephone messages at 334-321-2100. They will be placed in an envelope with your name on it and posted on a bulletin board in the outdoor covered, coffee break area.</p> International attendees should bring converters for 110 voltage.
