Mises Museum and Archives

The Mises Institute has been the trusted recipient of many wonderful treasures through the years. The ideas of Mises, Rothbard, and others of like mind pepper the shelves of our library and now historical artifacts from their lives will be on display in our museum and archives, and be available to researchers. Mises’s doctoral robe and typewriter, signed pictures and autographed books, letters, diaries, Mises’s World War I military medals, bronze busts of Mises and Rothbard, and so much more. It is now time to give these unique items a place. Contact Kristy Holmes if you are interested in donating to our museum and archives or naming the facility in your honor or that of a loved one.

Rothbard Village

The Rothbard Village, located in the back portion of our campus, is a convenient walk to the Institute offices. These 18 furnished apartments allow us to offer on-campus accommodations to visiting researchers and scholars, graduate students, resident fellows, and visiting faculty. Each apartment, named for an important economist or libertarian thinker, can also carry your name. Or, with your very generous gift, the entire Rothbard Village can be named in your honor. Contact Kristy Holmes if you are interested in sponsoring Rothbard Village.
